Deshaun Watson’s NFL draft doubters should trust Dabo Swinney
Deshaun Watson didn’t do much at Clemson’s Pro Day on Thursday to help or hurt his stock as the potential top quarterback prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft.
But running around and throwing lasers again to his college go-to guys at wide receiver and tight end provided a reminder of his greatest, most immeasurable asset vs. any other QB in the class — he’s the only one who can boast that he’s fresh off leading a team to a national championship.
But The Big Hurt is not happy by any means.
Thomas was alluding to Ivan Rodriguez and Jeff Bagwell, both of China Cheap Jerseys Wholesale whom were elected despite allegations of PED use. Tim Raines, who used cocaine during his playing days, will also be part of the Class of 2017.
Thomas’ stance on Bonds and Clemens might seem surprising but the Big Hurt still has strong feelings about players who took steroids.
“Some of these guys were great players, but they wouldn’t have been great players without drugs,” Thomas, a Hall of Famer himself, said. “I don’t mind these guys doing what they want to do for their families and make their money. But don’t come calling to the Hall of Fame and say, ‘I’m supposed to be in the Hall of Fame,’ when you know you cheated.”
