2017 ESPN college football midseason All-America team

The college football season has reached halftime, but before you break for the bathroom or the beer line, check out the players who have most stood out during the first six games.

Introducing ESPN’s midseason All-America team, which features some familiar faces from the preseason squad, as well as several new ones. The incredible depth at linebacker required a 3-4 defensive alignment, which, not surprisingly, is the favored look of several elite units around college football.

His absence means Miami must rely more heavily on sophomore Travis Homer, junior Trayone Gray and possibly true freshman Robert Burns. Richt also said it was possible true freshman Deejay Dallas would also get some reps at running back.

Richt said he does not need to have a special message to address his team with Walton now out.

“The team understands it’s football, it’s physical and guys get hurt,” Richt said. “I don’t think there will need to be any kind of explanation. It won’t be shocking to them that something like that happened. They knew that Mark was hurt.”

Only three running backs have carries this season for the Cheap NFL Jerseys China Hurricanes: Walton got the bulk of them, with with 56. Homer is next with 25, while Gray only has MLB Jerseys Cheap four. Quarterback Malik Rosier is second on the team with 37 carries, so he may also take on a greater role in the run game.
